Background and Expertise
Joe Antonelli has spent over three decades in public education as an english teacher and high school administrator in Southern California. He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College and the Claremont Graduate University School of Education Studies.
Joe is a PhD candidate in the field of Forensic Psychology with an emphasis on Threat Identification and Management. His area of focus is how childhood adversity affects people later in life, specifically with criminal behavior. He is also an adjunct faculty member of the University of Redlands School of Education.
Joe serves as a board member for the California Continuation Education Association (CCEA) and was twice named their state Administrator of the Year. He is a popular presenter on topics including the neuroscience of behavior, equity, school discipline, restorative practices, bullying, and trauma.
